This vibrant eye catching fully beaded scarf brings to mind the sounds of timbales and cymbals, of dreams of romance and flying carpets, of lands far away.
An original design, a one of a kind piece of wearable art, this scarf was hand woven on a loom using seed beads in shades of turquoise, sand, salmon, rust and navy , and measures a full 40 inches from tip to tip of the turquoise dagger fringe. The scarf is 2 1/4 inches wide with a 4 inch decrease in width at the nape of the neck for comfort and to enhance the drape of the beading.
Wear it over a favorite jacket or blouse. Drape it over a peasant blouse or on bare shoulders over a strapless gown. Or just put it on with your favorite jammies and pour yourself a glass of wine to celebrate how royal you will look when you wear Kismet.
I have always been attracted to all things natural and earthy. As a bead artist living here in the southwest desert I am surrounded by wonderful lapidary folks giving me access to unusual cuts of jasper and agates that lend themselves to the unique "one of a kind' beaded jewelry I design. Working with natural stones and seed beads which I embroider onto leather or suede using my own original designs with native stitches and techniques I sew or loom each piece individually.Website: www.gaudybyneola.com
